KL glass has a particular kind of dirt.
Two things make Klang Valley windows different from temperate-climate glass. First, the monsoon. The rain here carries fine particulates from the construction industry and the highways which dry as a chalky film on the outside. Second, the heat and humidity cycle expands and contracts the aluminium frames, drawing dust into the seals and louvre tracks where ordinary squeegee work cannot reach.
Our protocol is a two-stage one. The glass face is cleaned with a long water-fed brush charged from a deionised water tank, which leaves no minerals behind to spot. The tracks and frames are then detailed by hand with a soft brush, a vacuum and an aluminium-safe rinse.
External floors above 18 are referred to a specialist height-access contractor. We have a working arrangement with two of them and can make the introduction.
