Cookie policy.

We use the smallest possible number of cookies. This page lists them, what they do and how long they stay.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. The website can then read it back on a later visit to recognise the browser. Local storage works similarly. We use local storage rather than a traditional cookie for our consent record, because it is simpler to manage.

What we set

This site only uses storage items that are necessary to deliver our service. None of them is set without your action.

  • PHPSESSID — a session cookie, set by the server when you load the contact page. It lives in browser memory only and is deleted when you close the browser. It is used to protect the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery.
  • bk_cookie_choice — a local-storage item, set when you click Accept or Reject on the consent banner. It records the choice so the banner does not show again. It is removed when you clear your site data, and can be re-set from the cookie preferences icon in the bottom-left of every page.

What we do not use

  • No advertising trackers (no Google Ads, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag).
  • No behavioural analytics (no Google Analytics, no Hotjar, no Microsoft Clarity).
  • No social media share buttons that load third-party JavaScript.
  • No fonts loaded with a tracking pixel; the Google Fonts request we use carries no identifying information beyond your IP address, which Google records in its standard server logs.

How to change your choice

The small gear icon in the bottom left of every page reopens the consent banner. From there you can either accept or reject again. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the choice and brings the banner back on your next visit.

Browser-level controls

If you prefer to manage cookies at the browser level, here are the standard help pages for the four most common browsers in Malaysia:

  • Google Chrome — Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
  • Apple Safari — Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security
  • Mozilla Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings > Cookies and site permissions
